This Supervisor will manage a team of about 8 non-exempt Portfolio Monitoring Analysts (PMAs) in our Portfolio Credit Support team. This team provides base level credit analysis support for Portfolio Managers within Corporate & Commercial Banking (CCB).

Successful candidates will be passionate about coaching and developing staff, and leading people. The successful candidate will also enjoy working with financial statements in a fast paced and customer-oriented environment.

How you will spend your time:

  • Managing and coordinating the operational activities for Portfolio Credit Support
  • Operational activities include financial statement spreading and covenant testing for large Corporate & Commercial Banking lending relationship
  • Ensuring quality service and effective operations support for all assigned internal customer
  • Timely delivery of accurate financial statement spread reports is the primary support activity of the group
  • Interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, and training new staff to facilitate growth, development, and long-term career pathing
  • Accomplishing results through the effective monitoring of workflow tools and ongoing management of staff including non-exempt PMAs
  • Administering corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Participating in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units, coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective
  • Managing and distributing workloads for assigned east region and assisting other regions as needed
  • Partnering with Portfolio Managers to ensure proper support and build relationships


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Five to eight years of operations-related experience
  • Three or more years of supervisory/management experience
  • Working knowledge of Accounting & Financial statement preparation

  • Advanced knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
  • Broad understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational, managerial and project management skills
  • Well-developed customer relations skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Thorough knowledge of banking operations and human resources
  • Comfortable working with remote and diverse employment dynamics
