U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled Program/Project Manager with exceptional project management process and methodologies experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.
-Responsible for independently and objectively directing and managing the overall work efforts of a program or project team, ensuring proper controls are in place and processes are followed.
-Ensures project governance is established and observed.
-Manages projects from initial concept through post implementation per methodology and via approved project tools.
-Authors project management artifacts.
-Develops and maintains project plan(s).
-Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes project plan activities.
-Capable of utilizing sub-projects within master projects and advanced views of project plans within project planning tool.
-Provides oversight to meet established function, quality, cost.
-Authors effective, clear, concise, and relevant communication for program/project stakeholders.
-Presents the appropriate message to audiences up to and including two downs from Senior Vice Chair.
-Develops relationships with leadership of key project resources.
-Builds bridges and relationships with key project stakeholders while serving as a liaison.
-Able to address issues via direct one-on-one dialog with project resources.
-Works with resource managers to obtain resources.
-Determines knowledge and skill sets required to ensure successful project outcome.
-Promotes collaborative relationships across project team members.
-Works effectively across the organization to achieve goals.
-Manages program/project team contributors of more than 20 team members.
-Responsible for recommendations for hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards, and reviews.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 10 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
