The CBBO Digital Technology team (supporting Digital, Payments and Contact Center (e.g. IVR) for Consumer Lending Servicing) is looking for an Engineer that can lead the overall automated testing strategy and execution.  This person will lead the development of an overall automated testing strategy, and work with our on-shore and off-shore development team to execute the strategy.  The person will work in an agile environment helping to write and groom stories and work with the dev. team and business line to ensure the appropriate test coverage is in place.   As a Sr. Engineer, you will be responsible to innovate and establish new test framework for IVR systems. You will lead the team by example as a quality leader who thinks big and delivers result without compromising the quality. To do this, you will have the most advanced tools at your disposal; however, we expect you to bring new ideas and innovation to build/leverage as needed. You will be responsible for looking to the future and identifying what the team will need to test that were thought not possible today. You will collaborate with team, own and drive the quality of new products and software releases.



  • Responsible for the technical leadership, architecture and building of test automation frameworks and solutions
  • Write backend integration tests and tests for RESTful APIs
  • Implement Test Automation while driving processes to reduce manual test coverage
  • Demonstrated expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools
  • Instilling best practices for test suite automation and frameworks and documentation
  • Strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience in OOP and performance testing
  • Understanding of web, mobile and desktop technologies
  • Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms to help improve overall quality and test code


Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to six years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent

- 5+ years of software development or testing automation experience, including in Java or .NET

- 3+ years of experience using Selenium Web Driver

- Knowledge of and full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles

- Experience building test automation frameworks and solutions

- Experience with development of overall testing strategies and routines (automated and manual)

- Hands-on experience in the development and execution of automated test tools (preferably with Cyara, Eclipse, and/or intellij Idea)

- Experience with data conditioning to meet test scenarios (preferably using a Service Virtualization Model)

- Hands-on experience in an agile environment, both writing and grooming user stories and supporting backlog refinement
