Job Description

Reporting to the head of SMB marketing, the Sr Marketing manager will lead a SMB marketing team supporting the U.S. Bank and StateFarm strategic alliance. You will be responsible for marketing SMB portfolio of offerings – Point of sale, software, deposit, lending, and merchant acquiring to StateFarm customers. We are looking for a strategic, collaborative and data driven marketing leader to support this high growth area for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to market strategies, including targeting, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and channel selection

  • Lead all aspects of integrated marketing for U.S. Bank with SMB, including new customer acquisition, onboarding & engagement, retention & deepening and product marketing,

  • Help define, build, and manage a scalable marketing program to better connect U.S. Bank offerings with StateFarm.

  • Own campaign planning and launch coordination by developing efficient cross-functional processes, systems, and tools to guide projects from initial concept to execution

  • Conceive and run experiments and other growth initiatives and campaigns across our funnel.

  • Partner across cross-functional and cross-product teams to scale successful initiatives

  • Establish closed-loop analytics with our partners to ensure actionable metrics throughout the entire customer journey

  • Report on results and performance of the various marketing activities and channels

Basic Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience  

  • 10 or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results  

Preferred Skills/Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing and growth marketing roles at one or more fast-growing consumer tech companies (fintech a strong plus), and 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performing marketing teams.

  • A strong track record of spearheading effective product launches and growth marketing campaigns across multiple product lines and channels. A proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams to meet common goals and objectives.

  • A scrappy and resourceful way of operating. You're able to unblock yourself to achieve your goals and are always thinking creatively about your approach to problems.

  • Strong business acumen and extensive experience with core analytical concepts like LTV, incrementality, and statistical significance, along with the ability to effectively synthesize competitive trends, market data, and customer insights into a plan of action.

  • Highly collaborative leadership skills, and a comfort working closely with a variety of different functions to achieve your goals.

  • An ability to manage and plan at both the strategic and operational levels, and to consistently meet or exceed planned objectives

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This role demands someone who is gifted in their ability to use the spoken and written word to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay for Denver, Colorado. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location.

This role is open to multiple U.S. Bank office locations. Employee will start work-from-home. As we return to office, will work as a hybrid role - generally in the office three days a week.
