Summary of Job Duties: POSITION IS LOCATED IN FAYETTEVILLE, AR

The Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Clinic Program Manager works under the supervision of the PRI Director of Outpatient Operations to coordinate and implement the clinic's daily functions in the areas of staff supervision, program policies and procedures, assessment and referrals, and training. This position requires the ability to interact and develop strong positive working relationships with a diverse group of professionals at all levels within the organization, community, industry and state and federal governments.

The Program Manager provides direct supervision to Mental Health Professionals and indirect supervision to the PRI NWA administrative staff. This position will coordinate team meetings and administrative links between education, research and physician, psychology and allied health professionals in the PRI NWA Clinic.

The Program Manager will work with PRI & UAMS Compliance to assure clinical personnel stay in compliance with all state and federal laws. The Program Manager will become a designated “super-user” of the current Electronic Medical Record (EPIC), will train and assist all clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation meeting all standards of care within the first 6 months in the position. The Program Manager will facilitate leadership activities; will assist in the development of new programs within PRI NWA, the updating of policies and procedures, and the development and implementation of training agendas at the program level working with the PRI NWA Medical Director, the PRI Adult Psychiatry and Psychology Division and other staff. The Program Manager will be responsible for hiring and training, discipline and termination of non-faculty clinical staff. 

 
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field plus five (5) years of clinical experience including two (2) years clinical supervision.
  • Must be licensed as an LCSW or LPC in the state of Arkansas at time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years experience in a mental health clinical setting.
