The Manager of Employee Experience, Diversity & Inclusion is responsible for creating and sustaining a positive employee experience and subsequently increasing employee engagement levels within UHS, leading to committed and motivated employees who perform their jobs amidst diverse and ever-changing circumstances with the overarching goal of Creating an Aligned and Engaged Workforce where employees thrive and the organization prospers.

This is achieved through the establishment and delivery of leading Employee Experience management and inclusivity processes; practices that concentrate on building a positive and energizing Employee experience in UHS.  The position focuses on enhancing the quality and value of relationships in the workplace, effectively breaking down silos, and building collaboration across departments to achieve organizational goals. In addition, the role promotes an inclusive environment where the organization embraces the diversity of employees' backgrounds, views and perspectives.  The role aims at creating an inclusive work environment wherein all team members contribute to the formation and realization of goals, and employees feel respected by and connected to one another, regardless of their differences and are working towards the common goal.  This individual is responsible for overall work environment and employee experience, establishes engagement and inclusivity approaches and philosophies, including their execution.  The role also helps in analyzing the resulting levels of engagement, diversity and inclusion practices with an ultimate goal of enabling our employees fully engaged and enhance Patient care standards.

This position reports up to the Talent, Performance, and Organizational Effectiveness Organization and works closely with the HR Business partner organization to collaborate with them in maintaining the engagement standards through appropriate programs and employee engagement activities. 

The position will be an active member of the Employee Engagement Committee and enable effective conduct of the various Employee Engagement activities and ensure alignment with the overall people goal and organizational effectiveness strategy providing UHS employees with a positive experience in the work environment.

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in human resources, or a related discipline; along with 3 to 5 years of work experience in a healthcare and patient-centric organization setting working with management and organization/leadership development required.  Master's degree in related field preferred.
