United Health Services is seeking a System Director Pharmacy to lead our pharmacy mission of optimizing patient outcomes through medication management across the continuum of care as well as the vision to be a valued and innovative member of the UHS patient-care team.
Under the direction from, and reporting to, the Vice President Clinical Services, lead, direct, and manage all acute and non-acute pharmacy services. In addition, campion and facilitate the integration of pharmacy services throughout the UHS system.
Communicating needs proactively with UHS patient care teams, the System Director develops and maintains processes that promote the effective, appropriate, and safe use of drugs through the UHS system as well as recommends and executes innovations in the proactive and functions provided by the pharmacy departments.
Will mentor current and prospective team members of the pharmacy management team as part of an overall strategy to strengthen leadership and succession planning. Prepare and monitor department budgets for salary, capital expenses, and operations. Oversees all the 340b purchasing operations, software, and compliance.
PharmD or Master's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university required along with five years experience in a hospital pharmacy management position. In addition to the above, Master's degree in business or administration, completion of a Residency Program,, and experience with the 340b Purchasing Program preferred.
