POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr Product Lifecycle Analyst will work closely with the Merchant and Planning teams as well as the PLM project team focused on establishing our product lifecycle policies in support of the company's productivity and financial goals. They will drive the business forward through operationalization, process improvement, analytics and strategy development.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help develop, implement and maintain lifecycle strategy through cultivating relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining lifecycle plans preferred
  • Responsible for influencing product lifecycle decisions with cross functional partners
  • Identify, analyze and report out opportunities to help drive and support KPI's relating to company's productivity and financial goals
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
  • Provide analytics/insights to support business decisions relating to PLM strategy
  • Drive standards and policies to help governance of PLM processes
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Merchants, Planning, Supply Chain and other cross functional team members
  • Develop strong partnerships with peers by sharing best practices and maintaining regular, open communication
  • Ability to present information and interact effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Establish a leadership role amongst the team and be a champion of change management to drive adoption of PLM strategy

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent Merchandise Planning and Inventory as a PLM system matter export in any future cross functional projects involving PLM
  • Complete on-going training and development courses supported by the HR Training Team or the Merchandise Operations Training Team


Requirements

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • Minimum 4 years working in retail or related environment. Assortment and financial planning experience not required, but preferred
  • Ability to be a self-starter to work independently with minimal supervision and with a cross functional teams
  • Active participant in a cross functional or departmental projects/meetings, demonstrating engagement & leadership skills
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills
  • Critical thinker, able to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders and influence with data
  • Ability to make sound, informed decisions particularly under time pressure and in ad hoc situations
  • Demonstrate strong influential & negotiation skills
  • Overtime and weekends as needed
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Ability and willingness to Coach, Mentor, and Onboard
  • Lead by example with a positive attitude & ability to embrace/maneuver through change
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Willingness to adopt new processes, and be a change advocate
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with solid proficiency in usage of Excel and Power Point. Working knowledge of SAP or JDA a plus
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with solid knowledge in proper report design. Working knowledge of HANA or Analysis for Excel a plus
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data into trends and develop accurate and actionable insights based on the data
