Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Convenience Stores, the Arbor Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Arbor store. The Arbor operates 7 days/week with an annual budget of $3.4M and a staff of one career Assistant Food Service Manager and 80-90 part-time student employees.

The primary responsibilities include Supervision, Financial Management, Marketing and Merchandising, and CBORD.


Minimum Requirements

5 years of management experience in a retail outlet and/or food service operation, or equivalent education/experience. Demonstrated experience in planning and independent administration and management related to convenience stores or other retail operations management within a university environment, including but not limited to financial and labor management, sourcing & procurement, marketing & merchandising, handling and storage, customer service and health & safety.

Knowledge in inventory control functions, including experience in physical inventory counts, receiving, and storage of materials. Previous supervisory experience. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Desirable Requirements

Food service experience preferred.
