Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Convenience Stores, the Arbor Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Arbor store. The Arbor operates 7 days/week with an annual budget of $3.4M and a staff of one career Assistant Food Service Manager and 80-90 part-time student employees.
The primary responsibilities include Supervision, Financial Management, Marketing and Merchandising, and CBORD.
Minimum Requirements5 years of management experience in a retail outlet and/or food service operation, or equivalent education/experience. Demonstrated experience in planning and independent administration and management related to convenience stores or other retail operations management within a university environment, including but not limited to financial and labor management, sourcing & procurement, marketing & merchandising, handling and storage, customer service and health & safety.
Knowledge in inventory control functions, including experience in physical inventory counts, receiving, and storage of materials. Previous supervisory experience. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Desirable RequirementsFood service experience preferred.
