Continued growth of the Tele-Infectious Diseases Program in the Division of Infectious Diseases (ID) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) offers excellent opportunities for full-time and or part time ID physicians. These unique positions consist primarily of inpatient Tele-ID consultation for multiple healthcare facilities. Rounding time on the traditional inpatient services and resident/fellow teaching are also available. Training in Tele-ID is provided along with mentorship and career development for new faculty. UPMC has one of the largest ID Divisions nationally and has grown rapidly to 15 Tele-ID providers. Other advantages include working from home and from out-of-state locations in addition to a competitive compensation and benefits. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases.
