About this role:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst performs functions on highly complex projects and provides guidance to a team of Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) on cross-functional projects. He/ She serves as a liaison between the business community and Information Technology (I.T.) to support Sales and other systems. This position will collaborate with key stakeholders to document requirements, determine solutions, assist to addressing any project impediments and prioritizes demand in accordance with business needs and IT capacity. He/She ensures that BSA work products conform to quality and content standards, and stays current on industry best practices, standards, trends, tools and techniques. Mentor to junior team members.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will become proficient regarding the functionality of multiple Sales systems including Salesforce and many others. The Senior BSA will assist in developing solutions for our Sales customers. He/She will collaborate with product owners, project sponsors, application developers, testers (especially in UAT phase), scrum masters and some 3rd party vendors to implement projects that bring value to our Sales organization. The BSA may be asked to fill some of these other roles at times to some degree depending on situation and project needs.
- Experience with Business Process and Requirements Elicitation, Agile Business Analysis, Business Process Analysis, Structured Systems Analysis, MS Visio, and Workflow Analysis
- Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Familiarity with effective communication, process analysis, and requirements elicitation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disicipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience
