UPS Capital, a financial subsidiary of UPS, is currently seeking a Sr. Customer Support Representative (Sr. Administrative Assistant) for the Parcel Pro group. This position is responsible for advanced administrative duties in the customer support group. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced office environment and have strong technology, analytical, oral/written communication, problem solving and time management skills.

The Sr. Administrative Assistant III is responsible to provide enhanced monitoring for high value accounts by answering high volume of incoming calls and assisting customers with customer accounts, services and questions. He/She will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers via phone and email.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Resolves customer support challenges in a time-critical environment using problem solving strategies
  • Tracks and monitors customer shipments to ensure shipments arrive on time
  • Create reports in Excel to analyze daily tracking status and provides updates to clients
  • Manages multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced office with minimal supervision
  • Analyzes customer problems and communicates solutions verbally and/or in writing timely
  • Answers high volume of incoming calls professionally and quickly demonstrating appropriate telephone etiquette

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to work in a time-critical environment and manage customer support challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment under minimal supervision with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication, problem solving and time management skills
  • Professional office and telephone etiquette
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
  • Detail oriented
  • Demonstrates ability to perform routine analysis, document findings and present results
  • 2 years' experience with carrier logistics/shipping
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and PowerPoint including advanced skills in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
  • Customer Service experience - Preferred
  • Clerical Support experience - Preferred
