Join Our Community of Food People!The Finance Manager will provide in depth analyses on drivers of local sales and margin performance, allowing leadership to absorb clear and concise analyses that will inform business decisions.
This role will interface with Corporate and Field leadership, inclusive of Regional VP's of Sales, Pricing, and Finance. The individual will help drive standardization, automation and development of performance reporting tools and support the development of actionable analyses and insights.
Review financial reports created by Sr. Analysts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis for total company/divisions/regions.
Conduct analyses on various drivers of P&L sales and margin fluctuations, e.g. Customer mix driving margin expansion due to rapid growth of a customer concept that writes a higher margin.
Collaborate with the Merchandising, Pricing, and National Sales teams to evaluate and track promotions and initiatives impacting Sales and Margin and provide reports and updates as to the success and status of the initiatives compared to the plan.
Develop monthly/quarterly forecast by actively providing specific, actionable and forward-looking insights on various business drivers as well as providing guidance on any potential risks
Provide leadership with reports detailing specific sales trends and the drivers of those trends.
Partner with the divisions/regions to conduct ad hoc analyses on sales and margin impacts and partner with Market and Regional Finance and Sales to present findings and facilitate business actions.
Create and implement budget planning tools (spreadsheets, databases etc.) and take an active role in assisting senior leaders with budgetary planning and delivering commitments at a market level.

Corporate Sales and Margin teams; market and corporate sales and finance staff members
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. CPA or MBA preferred.
Related Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience is required. Experience in Foodservice industry preferred. Management experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of Anaplan, PeopleSoft, data warehouse queries, Essbase / Hyperion tools strongly preferred. Must have a proven track record of being able to work autonomously as well as interact across all levels of staff and management. Must possess a keen attention to detail and drive for results.
