Program Manager - Center for Patient & Professional Advocacy 2000573
Your Role:
The Vanderbilt Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy (CPPA) is focused on making medicine kinder, safer, and more reliable through preeminent programs in education, research and service that foster professional accountability and risk prevention.
The Program Manager role serves as a liaison between CPPA faculty, staff and physician and executive leaders at academic and regional health systems across the nation.

  • Oversees the creation, coordination and execution of the program.
  • Provides budgetary management to the program.
  • Provides training and guidance for individuals supporting the program.
  • Promotes growth and expansion of the program.
  • The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.
Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 3 years of relevant work experience.
Strongly Preferred: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management skills for multiple, ongoing projects
- Comfort with reviewing/analyzing basic data in Excel format
- Comfort presenting to small groups
- Strong team collaboration approach
- Ability to receive feedback
