Title: Registered Nurse

Schedule: Part-Time

Location: Immediate Care

Purpose and Scope:

Delivery of multifaceted nursing care to multiple specialties and all ages from newborns to geriatrics. Services include, but are not limited to, medical, surgical, orthopedic, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatric and occupational health. Patient may be walk in or scheduled.

A. Education: Current Virginia State. License or eligible for licensure. A current BLS certification. ACLS preferred.

B. Experience: A minimum of 2 years relevant nursing experience preferred. Able to use a multi-line telephone system and computer program for data entry and retrieval. Certification in basic life support and knowledge of the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard.

C. Other Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess excellent interpersonal communication ability, customer service skills, and telephone etiquette. Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment and have the ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must present professionally, have a pleasant personality, and ability to communicate positively with patients and staff
