In this role, you will be part of a collaborative technical team with broad experience in various Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) applications used by hospitals, surgery centers, clinics, etc.  You will focus on acquisition of non-labor expense data from functions encompassing: Materials Management Information Systems /MMIS (Purchasing and Receiving), Accounts Payables and General Ledger.  You will perform key data validations to evaluate spend data for completeness and product information/content which meets the hospital's needs in discovering options to reduce expense through participating in Vizient's Group Purchasing Organization (“GPO”) and tools and services.


  • Accountable for various data validations (e.g., data completeness & data accuracy) of a hospital's test data files.

  • Collaborate with our internal technical team and the Data Intake (DI) team to resolve validation issues.

  • Guide members to improve data quality to protect the integrity of the data.

  • Develop and guide improvement plans for hospitals with a proactive focus on remedy and resolution and minimizing escalations.

  • Manage all hospital projects including tracking incoming data, ensuring data are current for all groups.

  • Perform regular follow-up with hospitals to request submissions and process re-submissions within given time frames.

  • Communicate effectively with hospitals to resolve questions as needed.


  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years' relevant experience required.

  • Hospital supply chain experience required.

  • Experience with a hospital's Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) application (business and table structures) highly preferred.

  • Experience analyzing health care data for content and completeness desired.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL programming language and understanding of relational tables desired.
