Project Coordinator – OEM QA Ticket Coordination (Long-term Contract) Role Summary: This open position is part of a team that focuses on the series development support of electronic/electronic systems with particular relevance to the US and Canadian markets. The Project Management Office (PMO) supports the Project Leader in project planning, reporting, ticket coordination, change coordination and project documentation. – Travel is estimated to be 5%. Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering. Master's Degree desired.
Years of Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a QA role
  • At least 2 years of experience in project support activities/project management office
  • Project experience, preferably with an automotive OEM or tier-1 supplier (2-3 years)
Skills:
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason.
  • Proven problem solving skills knowledge and experience on the job
  • Able to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary, time-line and target oriented work environment
  • Excellent communication skills – presentation, written and interpersonal
  • California State Driving License


Requirements

Required Experience:
  • Background in QA
  • Ticket coordination and reporting, preferred experience with ticket management tools (Jira, HP-Quality Center, etc.)
  • Defect management / issue lifecycle management, including meetings and follow-ups with team members
  • Change management techniques / change control process experience
  • Experience with project tracking and documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Motivated team player, with positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desired:
  • Risk management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of product development processes and project management activities, deliverables and milestones
  • Knowledge of project validation lifecycles and system integration processes
  • Knowledge of automotive infotainment and / or IT cloud projects
  • Passion for cars and car electronics
  • German language skills
Role Responsibilities:
  • Project management office responsibility
  • Planning of project documentation, creation and follow-up of documentation plan
  • Project status documentation and open point list responsible
  • Defect and ticket management / issue lifecycle management
  • Responsible for the project's variant, quality and change management
  • Synchronization of US Development activities with internal and external stakeholders
