Role Responsibilities:

Localized Product Coordination – (50%)

· Work with internal partners to ensure Volkswagen requirements are available and understood during the supplier selection phases for battery housing components

· Evaluation of supplier capabilities and other technical assistance

· Review challenges that arise during the production ramp up and track resolutions to closure

· Ensure project timelines are tracked

Coordination with Project Lead – (50%)

· Represent local battery housing development project status in tandem with project lead in Germany

· Ensure constant communication of project design and supply

· Align locally requested changes with project leads in Germany

Align platform changes to the battery housing initiated abroad are implemented in the localized project


  • 3+ years of experience with automotive electronic system testing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required

  • Master's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering desired

· Knowledge of high voltage battery suppliers, particularly in the NAR

Work flexibility:

· Frequently traveling to the suppliers and the R&D department in Germany

Higher travel expected at initial project
