The first step in creating a truly great classroom environment is finding a strong middle school (7th Grade and 8th Grade) English Language Arts (ELA) teacher to lead it. Bring your passion for educating our youth to one of our National Heritage Academies (NHA) partner schools.

In this position, a cohesive leadership team of deans will be there to support you every step of the way. Along with our result-driven curriculum and commitment to educating the whole child – academically, morally, and socially – you and your students will be set up for success.
 

 

Requirements
  • Hold a valid teacher license in the subject and/or grade level the state of Michigan or have a bachelor's degree with an English Major and willing to pursue alternative route programs to become licensed. 
  • Candidates with experience working with at-risk students – preferred, if applicable to the school
