The Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible for successfully facilitating marketing programs and supporting sales efforts at the regional, MSA and when appropriate, account level. Regional marketing programs include regional trade association sponsorships and events, region- and account-focused emails and the customization of sales and marketing materials for specific regions or strategic accounts. This individual will work with cross-functional teams from Marketing, Sales and Services to execute regional marketing programs.


  • Subscribe to local/regional trade organization email lists for newsletters, local event announcements, etc. and join local trade groups on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Proactively and regularly contact trade organizations to determine networking, sponsorship, and speaking opportunities
  • Secure and manage local/regional trade organization opportunities as identified, including trade shows, sponsorship entitlements, speaker placement, design/display requirements, swag, etc. (leveraging Trade Events team to coordinate)
  • Meet regularly with Regional Managers/Directors in Sales to adjust regional strategy based on competitive intelligence, product priority, account-level data
  • Assist Sales with client/prospect invitations and follow-up related to local/regional trade events, Market Updates, other Yardi corporate events
  • Understand competitive landscape and Yardi's relative strengths and weaknesses to competitor products to promote Yardi products effectively (e.g., sell Breeze vs. Voyager when competing against AppFolio)
  • Serve as ambassador at local/regional events, delivering short company/product presentations as needed and as included in sponsorship entitlements; network at events and talk to prospects and clients about their needs and how Yardi can help them
  • Identify marketing opportunities based on account-level data and update email templates, collateral, etc. to be used by sales as targeted micro-marketing
  • Update product webinar marketing emails monthly with schedule and times (per regional time zone) and provide to Sales for targeted regional marketing based on account data
  • Customize Sales decks, leavebehinds, etc. as applicable for strategic client meetings
  • Identify and recommend thought leadership content to Sales for use in specific regions or with specific accounts and gain feedback from Sales regarding additional marketing and thought leadership materials needed and work with Corporate Marketing to develop

**This position will require up to 25% travel**


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Five plus (5+) years in marketing, sales or equivalent experience interacting with customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM
  • Experience with event marketing
  • Proven collaboration skills within a dynamic team
  • Proven ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage projects with multiple touch points
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in business to business (B2B) marketing
  • Experience in ERP systems
  • Yardi domain experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of real estate industry and Yardi's competitors a plus
  • Regular attendance and a regular work schedule are essential functions of this job
