About the Role:
As the Operations Performance Manager, you will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations through performance analysis and continuous improvement, facilitate the identification, assessments, and mitigation of risks through the governance of Operational Risk Management and oversee and coordinate the management of performance and projects by monitoring status and progress updates.


Other key responsibilities include:

Operations Performance:

  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Develop and implement systems to monitor and analyze operational performance metrics.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
     

Project Management Office (PMO):

  • Project Governance and Standardization: Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices for the department.
  • Portfolio Management and Reporting: Oversee the department's project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and optimal resource allocation.
     

Operational Risk Management (ORM):

  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Develop and implement processes to identify, assess, and prioritize operational risks across the organization.
  • Risk Mitigation and Control: Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize the impact of identified operational risks.
  • Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Establish a robust system for ongoing monitoring and reporting of operational risks.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Business. Master's degree is desirable;
  • Extensive experience in Operations Performance, Operational Risk Management and PMO leadership roles in the industry;
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills - Bilingual (Portuguese/English);
  • Track record of leading and managing complex programs to deliver improved outcomes/productivity gains with exposure to executive stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate, influence and collaborate across functions regionally, externally and globally, and at all levels of the organisatio, with proven success in managing by influence in a matrix organization;
  • Availability to travel (25% of the time).
