The Role:

As a member of Foundry Technology Operations (FTO), PDK Design Enablement Team, you will help to enable Cadence Design Tools on industry leading technologies.

The Person:

A successful candidate will work closely with AMD custom design teams, both circuit designers and physical design teams, to develop and maintain a Cadence design environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of custom layout and schematic capture tools including schematic symbol libraries, layout pcell libraries, layer maps, layout productivity tools and regression flows
• PDK support including PDK release process
• Troubleshoot and resolve pcell, schematic netlisting, and layout productivity tool bugs
• Develop regression flows to maintain high quality design environment

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Cadence Skill programming language
• Experience with PERL and/or PYTHON programming language
• Understand Physical Design and Physical Verification practices

Academic Credentials:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
