SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
- He/She should be part of Multi-Media Video SW team.
- He/She should closely work with D3D11 and D3D12 Device Drivers, Firmware/Algorithms & SoC/IP teams to develop and deliver drivers for different video interfaces.
- He/she should also very closely work with Domain/SW Architects to lead the design and development of key video features.
THE PERSON:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to Work with global teams/customers
- Well versed with the product Agile/Waterfall development strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design & Develop new video drivers/API as per the AMD SW Roadmap commitments.
- Should be responsible for design, development and optimization of various video playback, post processing and encoder features.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 6-8 years of work experience
- Experience in OpenCL kernel programming.
- Familiar with video processing for Microsoft DirectX APIs
- Experience with Multimedia shaders and Kernels
- Experience in Windows Media Foundation Transforms and Direct3D11 video API's.
- Experience in Cloud gaming, Screen mirroring scenarios.
- Experience in tools like Windbg, Windows Debug Viewer, ETL, HLK, Wireshark
- Experience in C, C++ programming & Data Structures.
- Should have experience in using IDE: Visual Studio and excellent debugging/investigative skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- B.Tech(ECE/CSE) or M.Tech (Digital Image Processing/Digital Signal Processing) or equivalent.
