LOCATION: Singapore
CRITERIA: Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore
INTERNSHIP DURATION: minimum 20 weeks full time commitment with the option of extending up to a further 12 weeks.
Intern - Yield and Characterization of Electrical Behaviour of Core Processing Unit (CPU) Server Products
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:
- Gain industry standard testing methodologies and experience working on CPU electrical characteristics.
- Join us and learn about semiconductor testing ecosystem and hands-on experience on CPU testing on Advanced test platforms.
- Develop soft skills in analytical thinking putting together the observation and conclusion through characterising the performance and test sensitivities of the product.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
To be involved in the characterization execution and testing that includes usage of ATE/system level equipment, data extraction and analysis and yield related Debug and analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on highly sophisticated and advanced processor with latest computing technology for server applications.
- Develop technical know-how on semiconductor testing and APU.
- Support and work with the engineer assigned for the execution of the characterization work while learning.
- Involves in data extraction, cleaning up of data by removing unwanted and outliers and analysis.
- Hands-on testing of unit in ATE and system level equipment, debug if issues observed in the data that does not align to expectation.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
Initiative to learn new things, self-driven and responsible to complete task given on time with basic knowledge and foundation of electrical and computer will be of an advantage.
RELEVANT SKILLSETS:
- Data Analysis, Programming and software skills, and passion for curating big data and visualisation.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Desired degrees/majors but not limited to the following.
- Preferably taking BSEEE, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or any computer related courses.
- Background in Semiconductor and related modules.
- Knowledge in Data analytics, JMP, powerBI, SQL, intermediate skillset of Excel
