Job Description
What's it like working in our SEAS Factory using your skills in manufacturing. Exciting, you will work in a dynamic manufacturing team environment that supports exciting Maritime defense Technologies. We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician with experience in Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, soldering, and sub-assembly for our first shift, Monday - Thursday 4/10, manufacturing team. Come support various programs in Hudson N.H.'s SEAS Factory using your wire and harness assembly skills.

  • Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production assemblies by following work plans/instructions using appropriate tooling, equipment, and test assets as prescribed.
  • Performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as wire termination, crimping and soldering, cable assemblies, chassis and board installations using specialized tooling.
  • Setting up and Operate Schlenunger Multistrip machine. Responsible for communicating with the Specification Writer and Process Engineer when the machine needs adjusting or if the program needs to be updated.
  • Document failures and create rework instructions where necessary and retest work after rework.
  • Collaborate with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
  • Drive continuous improvement and sustain a compliant work environment.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School Diploma and 2 years work experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and electronic drawings/schematics.
  • Experience with wire and cable harness preparation and assemblies.
  • Soldering experience. (IPC-620 & J-STD preferred).
  • Good manual dexterity requiring the use of both hands.
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Computer Literacy
  • IPC-J-STD Certified, Class 3
  • IPC-A-620 Certified, Class 3
  • Understanding requirements of Engineering Change orders and Cut In requirements.
  • Experienced using Schleuniger multistrip machine for cutting/stripping wire and cable.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $54560 - $87340

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
