Exciting Academic Opportunity at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, a Top 5 Large Health System and one of the countrys premier non-profit health care networks, is expanding its team and adding a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist.

The Department of Radiology is actively interviewing fellowship-trained Diagnostic Non-Inv Radiologists to fill a new vacancy and join the healthy and collegial family at Banner University Medicine Phoenix. Intellectually curious, team-oriented radiologists that enjoy a broad range of imaging cases- and enthusiastically teach others via our academic and research setting- will thrive with our close-knit team. The ideal applicant will have expertise in all aspects of their specialty and we welcome subspecialized training in Nuclear Medicine, MSK, Neuro, and Abdominal/Body Imaging.


With a newly-developed and growing Diagnostic/IR residency program, the ability to thrive in case management while teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows is essential. The qualified candidate will receive an academic appointment consistent with their credentials at the University of Arizona.

Teaching component involves working with radiology residents, IM residents, and working collaborative with trainees in cardiology and pulmonology. Opportunity to also be involved in medical education from the Medical School perspective. The qualified candidate will receive an academic appointment at the University of Arizona that is consistent with their credentials.


Have robust research infrastructure there and there are opportunities for self-directed as well as external funding program and projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • American Board of Radiology certified or eligibility
  • Fellowship-Trained in Abdominal/Body Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, MSK, or Neuroradiology

Preferred Requirements:

  • Double boarded in Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology
