We are looking to embed Generative AI into our ecosystem of products to enable Fortune 500 companies to secure their infrastructure against evolving threats at a velocity that is faster than humanly possible.
To achieve this, we are looking for a Product Development Director – AIOps. So, if you are a people leader, with experience in Generative AI, a high level of learning agility, and a clear desire to make their mark on the IT industry – this is the role for you!
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team consisting of developers and quality engineers.
- Deliver great products at high velocity and increase that velocity over time.
- Serve as the coach, mentor, and conductor of the individuals in this team, by growing their skills, and by finding and leading continuous process improvements.
- Work closely with an ecosystem of product managers, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders as you look to deliver innovative and easily adopted products.
- Manage all people aspects of the team, such as hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and promotions.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience in managing development teams.
- Experience with Agile Development and related project tracking tools
- Clear understanding of graphs and graph theory problems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Clojure, Scala and Python.
- Extensive experience with data manipulation libraries and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with advanced statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and experimentation.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into architectural solutions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing, or leading development for, SaaS-delivered products.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $163,050 - $271,750
