Job Description: Lead Accountant Location: Sao Paulo, Brazil
Main Responsibilities:
- US GAAP & Local Accounting Principles (BR GAAP)
- Coordinate with local accounting firm
- Balance sheet Account reconciliations
- Intercompany transaction accounting
- Revenue recognition
- Support to the employees on expense policies, insurance policy and travel policy.
- FP&A: Budget Planning and expense inquiry.
- Cashflow planning
The basic requirements are:
- Bachelor degree in Public Accounting
- Accounting experience 5 to 10 years
- Experience in a multi-national org
- Professional English language level written and spoken
- Polite and clear communication
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Hybrid attendance (2-3 days per week)
Nice to haves are:
- Experience in a big four firm (Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC)
- CRC Active (Certification of accounting)
- Experience in IT companies
- Experience in a public company
- One Stream reporting
- Oracle ERP
This person needs to be able to work under pressure, and with a quick paced rhythm. Candidate must communicate professionally at all times. Numeric analytics is important to evaluate financial statements and its variances. Communication skills are needed in both Portuguese and English as this employee will speak with people in different countries, so being able to build internal relations is key.
This position will report to the Brazil Country controller.
