To that end we have a challenging opportunity for a HR Manager, Corporate to be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Coppell, Texas.

Job Summary:

The HR Manager reporting to the Human Resources Director is responsible for managing HR processes, procedures and working closely with department leaders.  In this position, the HR Manager will work closely with the HR Director on compliance and support and provide solutions to employee concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for personnel
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications
  • Promotes an environment of a positive and favorable employee climate and one that encourages engagement
  • Supports with the on-boarding process for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees. Including but not limited to new hire orientation
  • Assists with processing of transactions in the HR System
  • Assists with status updates of performance reviews, surveys and other employee engagement initiatives
  • Assists or prepares correspondences as requested
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressive Human Resources role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations in a supply chain logistics, security sector, manufacturing, operations or high volume hourly workforce environment
  • Minimum of 3 years compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources and/or related field
  • Workday Experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
