Summary

Provides van or shuttle services of guests and/or staff members to and from designated areas at Cache Creek Casino Resort, and provides these services to other locations as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides van or shuttle services of guests and/or staff members to and from designated areas at Cache Creek Casino Resort, and provides these services to other locations as needed.
  • Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
  • Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of vehicle, maintains proper levels of fuel, and notifies supervisor of any issues that require attention such as needs for service or detailed cleaning.
  • Track passenger counts as needed.
  • Drivers must be polite and professional, and make sure passengers are satisfied with their ride by exhibiting R.I.C.H. values at all times.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

 

Age Requirement

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Have effective verbal communication skills.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.

Valid Class B California Driver's License with passenger endorsement.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to other moving vehicles in full parking lots and on roadway.  The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places.  The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
