As a member of the Global Real Estate Analytics team, you will be instrumental in supporting these goals through analytics, building tools, and developing dashboards.

The Senior Real Estate Analyst will report to the Manager of Real Estate Strategy & Reporting. The ideal candidate has the curiosity to go the extra mile to understand difficult problems and develop solutions. Key attributes of the candidate are a strong analytical and data development skill set, and an ability to communicate effectively, problem solve, and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Refresh and maintain current Power BI dashboards, rebuild and create additional views as needed.
• Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for automation, assist with solution development and implementation.
• Contribute to supporting current and new Real Estate Strategies using performance driven data and analytics to better understand our current network, potential growth in both markets and business models/strategies, competition, etc.
• Analyze real estate portfolio and support development strategies and plans to achieve long-term operational and financial goals (optimization, cost savings and improved ROI).
• Develop and maintain tools for site evaluation and financial analysis (ROI, IRR, etc.)
• Drive visibility and actionable insight into store performance through dashboards and presentations
• Guide / execute / deliver fact-based analysis of our network and competitors using internal and external resources
• Synthesize complex strategic problems into clear, actionable plans and ensure execution for success
• Build reports, develop presentations and storylines for strategic initiatives
• Contribute ad-hoc analyses and insights by leveraging store data, financials, and other key metrics.
• Train new team members through training sessions, documentation, etc.
• Support team members in coordinating communications, development of organizational tools, and maintaining data.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required. Major in business administration, analytics, finance, real estate, or similar field preferred.
• 5+ years work experience with analytics, GIS, market research, business analytics, or finance.
• Proficient in data analysis using various tools and statistical packages
• Technical aptitude to learn and understand the latest tools and use them to make recommendations and understand large and complex datasets
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and continually prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as new projects are assigned.
• Must possess strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years relevant work experience with analytics, real estate, or finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including knowledge of lookups, and pivot tables.
• Experience working with SharePoint as a user.
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, GIS Systems, Smartsheet and Google Earth.
• 2+ years working with a national or international retailer.
