Location: Laval (4204, boul. Industriel, Laval)

Hybrid mode: 3 days at the office and 2 days remotely

Type of employment:  Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)

THE ROLE

Under the leadership of the Project Manager of Retail Accounting Systems, within the accounting team, the project analyst will participate in the various projects affecting the accounting department.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Here are some ways you can optimize accounting processes:

• Be the point of contact between accounting and IT teams, coordinate and develop solutions for various projects.

• Reconcile all the expectations of the many stakeholders across multiple functional areas affected by the various projects.

• Contribute to improving existing and create new processes.

• Monitor projects under his/her responsibility to ensure that the schedule is respected and that the desired results will be achieved in a timely manner.

• Perform quality assurance using Accounting and IT systems data and approve prior to deployment.

• Provide support to the various accounting teams (Laval and Toronto)

• Provide support related to projects deployed to all our stores across Canada.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting OR project management training OR equivalent.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or project management.

Knowledge and skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage complex projects in a multi-task environment, meet deadlines and deliver high quality results

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize

• Ability to communicate effectively through written and oral professional exchanges

• Good knowledge of Excel

• Knowledge of PDI Enterprise and POS systems (an asset)

Language skills:

• Bilingualism is mandatory (French and English) in both written and spoken languages, as the person will be required to serve English-speaking regions.
