Job Summary: 

The Englewood Health Physician Network is seeking an experienced medical assistant/receptionist for the day-to-day operations of its new EHPN Asian Health & Wellness, located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Join a dynamic team committed to improving the health and well-being of our community. The ideal candidate will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare practitioners and will be responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the clinical staff. These include assisting physicians with patient care, providing exceptional customer service and routine clinical and administrative responsibilities as needed to meet the needs of the practice to which they are assigned. Medical Assistant duties vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice.

Job Essentials: 

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a medical office.
  • Knowledge of medical practice operations and health care administration principles.
  • Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Skill in assisting in a variety of treatments and medications as directed.
  • Skill in taking vital signs.
  • Skill in maintaining medical records and recording test results.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications; Epic preferred
  • Skill in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information.
  • Skill in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and the public.
  • Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
  • Bilingual: English/Korean

Location: 910 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs

Status: Full Time

Shift: Days

Hours: Staggered shifts 7:30am Tuesdays start time, 8:00am start time  and one late evening a week

 

Education Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent or a minimum of five (5) years full-time experience in a related field in a healthcare setting.

Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants

 

Certification:

Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) preferred.

Current CPR Certification preferred.
