A well-respected medical group in southern Connecticut is adding an Advanced Gastroenterologist. The ideal candidate will do 50% Advanced GI and 50% General GI.
About the position: Large group of 17 physicians and 11 advanced practitioners in a busy practice. Responsibilities include both outpatient practice and inpatient coverage. Opportunity for a faculty appointment for those with an interest. Employed practice with a very nice call rotation. Opportunity to teach medical residents and medical students.
Who we are seeking: Fellowship trained in advanced endoscopy. We are considering new grads or experienced Physicians.

The facility: Not-for-profit community hospital providing area residents convenient access to exceptional care. 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits annually. Affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine. 900+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
The location and community: Located in Fairfield County, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. Surrounded by a number of quaint towns with scenic rolling hills, this beautiful suburban location boasts excellent housing and school systems. It offers a wide array of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, and boating in state and regional parks and preserves. It has abundant local historical, cultural, educational, and recreational attractions. Boston, New York City, New Haven, and Hartford are easily accessible via train or car.
