Envision Physician Services is seeking­ an Associate Medical Director to join our team at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital ­in Ft Walton Beach, Florida. This is a unique opportunity for someone actively involved in leadership presently or ideal for a practicing clinician looking for a leadership track as well as career progression.

ED Features:

• 67,000 annual patient visits
• 44-bed recently renovated ED with fast track
• Level II Trauma Center
• Flexible scheduling - 11 hour shifts
• Dedicated pediatric ED
• Critical care sub-specialty support
• 1.45 patients per hour
• Excellent support services and nursing staff
• Destin ER affiliated Freestanding ED
• Navarre ER affiliated Freestanding ED
• Occurrence based malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be clinically active in Emergency Medicine
• Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is required
• Previous Chief Resident/leadership/administrative experience preferred, but not mandatory to apply
• Have strong administrative and team building skills

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is a 309-bed hospital located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. HCA is recognized as a Top General Hospital for excellence in quality care and patient safety. It is the only acute care hospital in the Tri-County area that offers open heart surgery, an Accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center. This Level II Trauma Center has expanded its emergency services to include a dedicated Pediatric ER, 24/7 Destin ER, and 24/7 Navarre ER.
