Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Solutions in Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Improve Automation Penetration, drive standardization in defined intercompany processes & Transactions across all flex sites through EDI Implementation.
  • Primary work involves to implement EDI & In-house solutions (Forecast, Forecast Commit, New PO, Change PO & Confirmation, ASN, Invoice etc.,) for new & existing Supplier base (Flex Intercompany sites) and post implementation support for solutions gone live.
  • The Job responsibilities include coordination on setting up connections, Testing, Go Live Monitoring, Root cause analysis of issues & Working with IT teams (Internal / Site) to get them resolved.
  • Research complex business problems and propose automated solutions to improve operations and processes efficiency between Flex intercompanies.
  • In charge of providing functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and to provide consultation to users related to automated systems.
  • Research, design and test new systems and system enhancements in line with the deliverables of site business/customer's requirements.
  • Resolve required improvements on the systems & supervise its correct implementation to meet site business/customer's requirements.
  • Communicate with users to troubleshoot and resolve day to day system issues to ensure smooth operation.
  • Prepare Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems.
  • Proactive monitoring of enterprise systems to ensure they are adequately sized to meet the dynamic requirements from the business solutions.
  • Provide timely reports and metrics to support leads on the new connection gone live and support delivery.
  • Willing / upgrade to learn on a continuous basis
  • Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers and cross functional teams.
  • Conduct presentations and training to Project Team and Management as needed.
  • Create and/or update Training Documentation for End Users

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Must have good knowledge on EDI process along with ERP Work environment (preferably Baan, SAP or any ERP knowledge is good) for Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, 8plus years of related experience, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel(macro), Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Must possess Very strong English communication, Negotiation and Project self-driven skills.
  • Experience on handling EDI support projects and involved in E2E Implementation of Suppliers/Customers in EDI- added advantage.
  • Strong in requirement gathering & gap analysis - added advantage. 
  • Reports analysis and Metrics building
  • Need to be prepared to work in a Global Environment that involves all the possible time zones.
  • Candidate working in EMS, Retail and supply chain industry with above skill set preferred and advantage, but not mandatory or limited.
  • Strong in requirement gathering & gap analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Procurement & Finance domain
  • Candidate working in EMS, Retail and supply chain industry with above skill set preferred and advantage, but not mandatory or limited.
