Description

FSA Federal is currently seeking a Manager of Program Performance to join our team in Herndon, VA.

Reporting to the President, the Manager of Program Performance (MPP) will oversee and integrate Program and Corporate information to facilitate management, reporting and oversight of FSA's portfolio of contracts. The MPP plays a key role in the direction of the business supporting customer financial and performance modeling, reporting, forecasting, data quality and operations support. He/she will develop financial and performance reporting through establishing dashboards, operational metrics, and reports to support the organization and customer leadership. The successful candidate shall have the ability to think strategically, operate tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. He/she will build strong working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manages the coordination and synchronization of all stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective use of company resources in support of the entire life cycle of a program, from planning, initiation, monitoring, execution to close out.
  • Develops metrics, KPIs and reports to proactively monitor program performance.
  • Performs complex data reporting for key contracts, task orders and/or programs on a quarterly, semiannually, and annually basis or as required.
  • Collects and updates full program performance data, prepares and analyzes historical and predictive measures, reviews results, and provides recommendations to program and senior managers.
  • Develops performance dashboards that encompass key metrics to be reviewed with senior leadership and customers to drive and manage program results.
  • Establishes internal program processes that will integrate operational and task order-specific information into customer deliverables.
  • Assess, and enhance program performance applying methods that may include: Requirements Definition, Strategic Planning, Resource Management, Stakeholder Analysis, Project Management Plan, and After-Action Reports.
  • Prepare and facilitate informal workshops briefing and applying project management best practices, processes procedures for contractor and Government audiences.


Requirements

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum 7 years of overall business management or program management experience in the Federal government contracting field.
  • Strong ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
  • Possess a strong understanding of data analytics, Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, multi-tasking individual with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Ability to lead and manage and work as a team member of a complex and challenging organization in execution of government service support contributing to customer satisfaction while maximizing revenue and profit.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, high dollar programs, projects, or contracts delivering records operations support to Federal clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing complex statistical and analytical reports.
  • Excellent organizing skills.
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization that can scale quickly.
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership and leading data-driven analyses to support and grow a business.

Other Requirements:

  • Position eligible for a hybrid Telework schedule.
