Essential Job Functions

  • Follow-up on all open Accounts Receivables including email and phone conversations.
  • Perform new customer credit review and annually review top customers' credit history and credit lines according to purchase and payment history. Prepare and complete required supplier/vendor forms as needed.
  • Establish terms for mid-high dollar volume production jobs and/or purchases including issuing pro forma invoices and following up on scheduled prepayments.
  • Review and expense classification of freight/shipping charges.
  • Maintain customer tax forms and certificates of insurance and provide Gibson tax forms as required.
  • Work closely with Customer Service to establish new customer accounts and maintain existing accounts as needed.
  • Assist Shipping Department with order releases, invoicing issues, and shipping issues as needed while overseeing office supply purchasing.
  • Perform duties and requests as directed by the Controller including, but not limited to customer part number maintenance
  • Work with Vantiv for all aspects of customer credit card purchases.
  • Work closely with customers and vendors who have concerns related to AP and AR.  Provide top customers with monthly statements; oversee statement review for our top vendors.  Assist with all aspects of customer invoice queries and payment related issues.
  • Prepare and make bank deposits as required.
  • Approval of 1/3 of all company expense reports through Concur.
  • Review and recommend annual bad debt write-offs and work with customers to reduce customer credit balances.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous credit and collections experience preferred, as well as a working knowledge of P21, Vantiv, and Concur.  
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to switch gears easily in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must possess great attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
