What's a typical day as a Career Coordinator? You'll be:
• Planning and executing career development activities, including employer visits, networking opportunities, and job placement workshops for students.
• Overseeing the establishment of new job recruiting pipelines to provide employment opportunities for students.
• Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to locate appropriate student participants for program-related experiential education.
• Recruiting and maintaining employer participation in experiential education.
• Serving as a career information and employability skills resource to students, counselors, instructors, staff, and the community.
• Assisting students in developing career-related skills such as resume writing and job search techniques.
• Researching and providing relevant labor market information for students, faculty, and staff.
• Maintaining records and program data on employers and students participating in experiential education.
• Collaborating with faculty coordinators and industry employers to ensure program objectives are met.
• Evaluating experiential work experiences for program improvement and student success.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Have three years of experience in student placement, career services, advising, customer service, or workforce development.
• Have experience with information technology and business industries and employers.
• Have experience working with multicultural students and staff.
• Have knowledge of career services and marketing strategies.
• Have excellent interpersonal communication and public relations skills.
• Are able to work as a team player in a multi-culturally diverse working environment.
