Title: Field Administrative Associate
Location: Uniondale, New York
Hours: M-F 8:30AM - 5:00PM
Salary Range: $22-24/hour (Depending on experience)
Our client location in Uniondale is looking for a Field Administrative Associate. For the right person, this opportunity will be Temp-Perm.The Field Administrative Associate performs various administrative duties requiring an understanding of company and field office operating procedures to support the field manager and producers in their sales and marketing operations. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is essential in this position.
Sorts and distributes incoming mail with adherence to compliance regulations.
Performs routine administrative duties using Microsoft Office to include typing/keying of miscellaneous correspondence and routine letters.
Operates telephone console for all incoming phone calls and routes accordingly. Orders supplies when directed.
Interprets policy status, coordinate new applicant procedures, and process routine service requests.
Assists with the preparation of recruiting kits and producer kits.
Performs other duties as required.
Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
2+ year of relevant work experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
Strong communication skills (written/oral)
Ability to interact with field staff, producers and home office employees
Ability to learn basic insurance and securities terminology needed to complete job duties
Strong organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Ability to make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for process/procedure improvement.
Ability to build strong working relationships and work with others in a collaborative team environment
