Position Details:

• 2nd Shift: 1 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday through Thursday
• $26-$36 per hour based on experience
• Mandatory OT on Friday possible
• Direct hire job opportunity
• $2000 sign-on bonus

What's a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You'll be:

• Assembling, installing, cleaning, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
• Demonstrating electrical competency for troubleshooting and familiarity with electrical principles and components.
• Using electrical meter for testing purposes.
• Maintaining schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
• Using knowledge in piping systems, pipe fittings, pumps and motors, valves, etc.
• Comprehending gearboxes, motors, bearings, sprockets, chains, bushings, belts, and pulleys.
• Operating sit-down forklift and/or articulating boom lift.
• Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
• Complying with health and safety regulations.
• Performing general maintenance work on buildings.
• Using computers and operating CMMS programs.

You may be a good fit for this position, if:

• You have industrial maintenance experience.
• You have 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Electrical and welding experience (preferred).
• You can demonstrate knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.
• You can demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability.
• You can demonstrate strong computer skills.
• You can perform physical tasks and demonstrate physical dexterity.
• You can troubleshoot to identify and recommend solutions.
• You can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
• You can lift 50 lbs. frequently, climb ladders, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• You have steel toed shoes or boots.
• You have a High School Diploma or GED.
