Exciting opportunity for a Material Handler in Hatfield, PA!!
 
 
Kelly is hiring a Part-Time to Full-Time Material Handler to work at a premier client in Hatfield, PA: guaranteed at least 21 hours per week and up to 40 some weeks.  Here are the details:
 
1st Shift:  7:30am to 4pm, Monday-Friday

  • Guaranteed 21 hours per week, up to 40 hours some weeks
Pay:  $18-$19 per hour

What's a typical day as a Material Handler? You'll be:
• Staging customer materials in the designated areas.
• Comparing identifying information of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, or other records.
• Unpacking and examining incoming deliveries, notifying the Supervisor of any damaged items, shortages, discrepancies, or inconsistencies.
• Accurately using measuring instruments, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Assisting in the testing of materials.
• Operating machinery, including saws, accurately and safely.
• Delivering materials and other items received to the appropriate area within the departments.
• Preparing material for shipping by banding, shrink wrapping, packaging, etc.
• Maintaining a clean and clutter-free work environment.
• Understanding and complying with company policies and procedures.
• Following all safety rules and regulations and utilizing personal protective equipment.
 
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Are able to obtain a forklift operator certification.
• Have the ability to read and interpret documents.
• Can identify damaged or missing materials from orders.
• Have the ability to operate various types of Forklifts.
• Have the experience using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Have a minimum High School diploma or GED.
