Our client is seeking a 3D Drafting Technician in St. Louis, MO. This is a contract only role with the possibility of going perm after 6 months. 
The Engineer Technician's role is to assist Engineering in preparing complex drawings, diagrams, and documents using Solidworks this includes developing files based on notes, sketches, technical guides, and vendor information. As a Solidworks Technician you will produce CAD files in a timely and accurate manner. This position may include duties involving 3D detail work, editing previous files, general product drafting, and managing parts available for new products.

• Generate drawings and technical information for direct manufacturing support
• Generate engineering documents such as bills of materials, name plates, and spec sheets from templates to support manufacturing.
• Document, update and organize engineering information, templates, and databases as needed to allow easy access and retrieval of information.,

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate Degree in Engineering or technical field
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with Solidworks software.
• 1-5 years current Drafting Experience
