Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Tissue Processing Lab Technician near Vandalia, OH.

Temp to Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday 3pm-11:30pm 
Pay: $18/hr +$1.50/hr shift differential

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform processing, debridement, packaging, labeling, and shipment of finished products.
• Engage in the receiving and inspection of incoming unprocessed tissue.
• Utilize special techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.
• Assist the team lead in maintaining inventory levels for receiving supplies.
• Conduct lab cleaning activities as per policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory staff to ensure compliance with federal, state, and AATB regulations.
• Complete documentation in processing according to standard operating procedures and quality standards.
• Support production records as needed.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Take on additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in universal precautions and sterile technique (e.g., surgical technician, medical assistant, lab technician).

Physical Requirements:

• Medium work involving exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally.
• Requires mental and visual acuity, walking, repetitive motion, speaking, grasping, manual dexterity, talking, and hearing.

Working & Environmental Conditions:

• Work in a Biomedical manufacturing environment with proper safety precautions.
• Use safe workplace practices with manufacturing equipment.
• Wear appropriate PPE, including gloves, masks, and safety glasses.
• Avoid trips and falls, observe fire and building safety regulations.
• Occasional potential exposure to hazards like chemicals, blood, bodily fluids, and sharp objects.
