Title and Summary

Executive Assistant, Law Overview
• The Corporate Group provides comprehensive legal support to Mastercard by partnering and advising on the integral global corporate functions of the Mastercard enterprise, including its corporate governance and global finance operations, which have a direct impact on all aspects of the business.
• Responsibilities include managing the Corporate team, ensuring operational efficiencies by implementing processes to manage planning and communications, and liaising and coordinating between C-Suite executives, directors and groups the Corporate team interacts with.

Role
• Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day department operations for the Corporate Law Team in such areas as scheduling meetings; travel arrangements; expense reporting; maintaining and managing complicated calendar scheduling, including for Board and Board committee meetings; screening mail; filing and maintaining records for Corporate Secretary; providing coverage for team members, ordering supplies and maintaining department and company records.
• Handle internal and external inquiries by screening calls and emails, answering questions and redirecting to appropriate personnel.
• Manage relationships with board members and their offices; ensure effective communications on behalf of the Corporate Secretary and manage lists of
• Provide administrative assistance to Directors or assistance with Board meeting preparation as assigned.
• Independent preparation of correspondence; memoranda; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation in specified software package.
• Assist with managing and/or tracking expenses.
•Assist with creating mailing labels, preparing and delivering packages to mailroom
•Copying, scanning and saving files (hard and soft documents)
•Support with keeping track of updating signatures, identification documents, etc. (any assistance here would be great but not a priority)

• Assist with creating binders of Board and Committee materials for executives
• Assist with coordinating signature pages, as needed
• May research special topics; develop and produce reports as assigned.

All About You
• Expert Administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with C-Suite executive level management, directors and senior customers.
• Working knowledge of Board portals preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time; track and execute upon multiple commitments
• Ability to exercise discretion and appropriately handle confidential information
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team setting
• Intense attention to detail with strong verbal and written communications skills
• Thrives in an environment where priorities are constantly changing
• Good decision making and proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze what is needed, learn how to find the information requested and respond promptly
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite including strong Word and PowerPoint skills and good Excel skills.
• Expert in MS Office Outlook.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
