Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis Overview:
This position will report into the Director - Financial Planning & Analysis Europe
The FP&A Europe team is the regional team supporting our CFO and our Executive Management by providing Finance reporting and guidance.

The person selected will be part of the finance business partner team dedicated P&I, NPP and Marketing and will work in close collaboration with other teams across the Finance organization, as well as with our Global Product team & local Business Partners.
The objective is to own the day-to-day operations, provide insights & support to support and drive the implementation of the company's strategy & objectives and implement process improvements.
This position will be part of a team that acts as real finance partner to the European P&E, NPP and Marketing team

Role:

o Critical participation during the yearly assessment of Regional products sizes and market shares. Active and critical support during the project liaising with the internal market stakeholders, the corporate FP&A team and the external consultants
o Support in the annual budget exercise, quarterly performance reviews & forecast cycles, enabling efficient & effective execution of key planning deliverables
o Provides valuable insights & analytics on financials and manages opportunities & risks, actively cooperates with the Business to construct a clear view on expected performance
o Embodies leading beyond finance by partnering with regions, business units, business partners and corporate to assist in developing, analyzing, and validating new business opportunities
o Cooperates on strategy and process improvements related to budgeting, forecasting, systems, and other key areas to ensure alignment with market objectives
o Supports revenue-generating activities such as new product/service launches & pricing initiatives
o Development, improvement & automation of reporting & analysis package across Europe
o Acting as a trusted representative of the Core product teams towards the Finance organization & vice versa
o Engaging with the Europe Product team by providing valuable feedback and analysis to stimulate objective achievement and overall development of the business, while remaining compliant to financial guidelines and processes.
o Participating in the Strategic Planning of our long-term product performance

All About you:

o Bachelor or master's degree in finance or Economics
o Prior experience in financial planning, analysis & forecasting or related Finance field.
o Knowledge of financial reporting systems (e.g. Hyperion, Oracle) and experience with combining and/or consolidating environments including multiple data sources.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly proficient using MS Excel.
o Strong communication and relationship management skills, with ability to influence others.
o Great team player.
o Possess situational awareness to understand needs of various stakeholders across business, finance, and other cross-functional and external teams.
o Work and think independently. Ability to navigate unfamiliar situations, provide narrative and rationale for financial analysis.
o Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency with high standards of accuracy and precision
o Good organizational, data management and analysis skills
