Title and Summary
Senior Software Engineer Overview:As a Platform Engineer you will work with your product team to develop, deploy, operate and maintain security software solutions from inception to production. Our leading-edge solutions are integrated across the enterprise and provide automated, flexible and compliant authorization methods to accelerate migration, deployment and operation of applications in the public cloud. This is a fast-paced environment providing rapid delivery for our cross-market partners. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment that values speed and quality, with a strong desire to drive change as we continue on our agile transformational journey.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute and maintain scripts in Jmeter, Blazemeter, Gatling or similar load testing tools
• Perform log file analysis, run queries and monitor load during performance testing.
• Understand user behavior and scenarios during peak and off-peak times and simulate them in performance environment.
• Work closely with application development, Architecture, Infrastructure and Engineering teams for test data, planning, analysis, success criteria
• Handle projects end to end individually which involves activities like- requirement gathering, designing scenario, execution & analysis of different tests and reporting results with recommendations.
• Prepare performance Test Strategy, Test plan, Test closure report, workload model for web application, API, etc.
• Good experience in identifying bottlenecks with shared resources,CPU, memory, storage and network.
• Design load tests by understanding the production workloads.
• Working experience with APM tools like - Appdynamics, dynatrace etc.
• Java profiling experience- heap and thread dump analysis is desirable.
All About You
• Bachelor's Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Desired skills" Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure & Microsoft E5"
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers) and interest or experience with pair-programming mindsets.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CI/CD concepts, processes and tools, testing frameworks and practices. (Bamboo, Jenkins)
• Familiar with Design Thinking, Behavior and Test-Driven Development
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with track record of contributing to and improving solutions.
• PCF Experience, Awareness, and experience with IT Security - SSL, Certificates, OAuth
