This is not an independent contractor position. Our sales managers are MedMutual Protect employees with benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance and 401(k). 

Responsibilities:

  • Training, mentoring, and motivating a team of independent sales agents.
  • Sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and selecting quality individuals to join your sales team.
  • Conducting field training and joint field work with your agency team.
  • Leading sales meetings and orientations for new and tenured sales agents.
  • Supporting health insurance prospecting and sales activity; including building and maintaining relationships with business owners, HR professionals and other decision makers.
  • Supporting corporate culture that thrives on high energy, competition, collaboration, and fun.
  • Developing and maintaining broker relationships.

Recommended Job Skills:

  • Sales management experience; open to leaders without formal management experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicare market.
  • Sales recruiting experience.
  • Competitive spirit/drive
  • Ability to lead and motivate sales teams
  • Knowledge on how to prospect/lead generation.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • Hands-on sales experience exceeding sales targets
