The Subject Matter Expert – Logistics will be based in Hyderabad. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager – Logistics.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

• Co-ordination with Overseas Suppliers for Packing List.
• Co-ordination with Freight Forwarders for the Booking and the Draft BOL.
• Review and approval of Draft BL as per L/C Terms.
• Generate Commercial Invoice and Packing List.
• Co-ordinate with Finance team for Payment of Customs duty.
• Follow up with CHA for OOC of shipments.
• Co-ordinate with CHA/ Transporters for the dispatch of containers.
• Generate E-way Bill.
• Coordinate with CHA, CFS, F/F, Transports
• Co-ordinate with FedEx /DHL/UPS for the courier Shipments.
• Follow up with the Overseas Suppliers for the COO.
• Import Documentation Pre-& Post Shipment
• Co-ordination with Customs/ CHAs & Forwarders
• Responsible for on time custom clearance
• Approve BOE Checklist to CHA for BOE filing.
• Co-ordination with nominated transporters for domestic shipments.
• Knowledge of High Seas Sales Agreement/ Shipments.
• Ability to establish and meet deadlines; ability to establish clear priorities quickly.

Here is some of what you'll need (required)

• Graduate with minimum 8+ years of experience in Imports & Domestic logistics from manufacturing background.
• Exposure to International Logistics, good understanding of Incoterms and Shipping terms.
• Well versed with Negotiation of shipping documents under – Letter of Credit
• Well versed with shipping documents like Bill of Ladings, Invoice, Packing List, COO, Fumigation Certificates etc.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel should be familiar with lookups, Pivots, and charts.

• Prior experience of logistics operations in the US Markets will be an added advantage.
