Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is looking for a Clinical Informaticist to join our Information Services (IS) team. The Clinical Informaticist is responsible for bridging the gap between clinical departments and the IS Department. They will facilitate communication between IS, vendors, and the staff regarding clinical IS applications. The Clinical Informatist will help departments within the health care organization to plan, implement and support changes, enhancements and new workflows. From proposal to launch, you work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals who use the software, training and supporting the staff on the program. Other duties and responsibilities will include evaluating and testing software vendors and systems, troubleshooting, maintaining and optimizing the software.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, communication, computer skills, flexibility and at least three years working in a customer service role. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field – or related experience. A strong candidate will have significant exposure to and knowledge of clinical or fiscal departments' operating policies and procedures as well as knowledge of healthcare information systems.
